How to fix grammar on LinkedIn posts, comments and messages
A typo in a LinkedIn post stays visible to everyone who sees it. Caret corrects grammar, spelling and punctuation in LinkedIn's post editor, comment boxes and messages as you write, without changing your voice.
Steps
- Add Caret to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store.
- Open LinkedIn and start a post, a comment or a message. If LinkedIn was already open and nothing happens, refresh the tab once.
- Write and pause for about a second. Caret fixes what you just wrote, in place.
- Review the small note showing what changed, then post. Undo is one click.

Questions
Does LinkedIn check grammar?
LinkedIn relies on your browser's spell check, which underlines words but doesn't fix grammar. A Chrome extension like Caret corrects grammar and spelling automatically as you type.
Will Caret rewrite my LinkedIn post?
No. Caret only fixes grammar, spelling and punctuation, and leaves your text alone if a fix would change too many words.
Is it free?
Caret is free during the beta. After that there's a free plan with a daily number of fixes, and a paid Pro plan.
